Mixer & Pack was one of the organizations recognized in the first awards promoted by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha on the occasion of the International Day Against LGTBIphobia, an initiative aimed at highlighting the work of individuals, organizations and institutions committed to diversity, inclusion and real equality.
The company, the first business in the province of Guadalajara to fully join the regional agreement promoting discrimination-free environments and action against LGTBIphobia, received this recognition during an institutional event held in Brihuega and chaired by Sara Simón, Minister for Equality of Castilla-La Mancha, together with Pablo Bellido, President of the Regional Parliament, and Luis Manuel Viejo, Mayor of Brihuega.
The event also brought together institutional, social and business representatives from across the region, including members of the regional and provincial administration, trade union representatives, security forces, social organizations and LGTBI associations.
During the ceremony, Javier Aguilera, CEO of Mixer & Pack, spoke on behalf of all award recipients, highlighting the role that companies and organizations can play in building more respectful, safe and inclusive environments. In the words of Javier Aguilera: “At Mixer & Pack, we have always understood that industry must not only be efficient and competitive, but also responsible towards people.”
For Mixer & Pack, this recognition is part of a business vision in which industrial growth must go hand in hand with people’s wellbeing, integrating active policies aimed at fostering safe, inclusive and respectful working environments.
